Terms of Service
Pre-launch draft
This is a clear, plain-language summary of how Petmoir works. A full, lawyer-reviewed version will replace it before we take real payments — nothing here is legal advice.
These terms explain the deal between you and Petmoir: what we make for you, what stays yours, and what to expect when you order a book.
The short version
- —You keep ownership of your words, your photos and your finished book.
- —You give us permission to use what you share to make that book.
- —Each book is a one-time purchase, printed to order.
Your account
- —Keep your details accurate and your login to yourself.
- —You're responsible for the activity on your account.
Your content & the permission you give us
- —Everything you share stays yours.
- —You grant Petmoir permission to store and use your content for one purpose: creating, editing, printing and delivering your book.
- —You confirm you have the right to share what you upload — for example, photos you took or own.
AI-assisted writing
- —Petmoir uses AI to turn your stories into chapters. Think of it as a thoughtful first draft — you can edit any of it, and the finished book is yours.
- —AI can occasionally get a detail wrong, so please read your book through before you order the print.
Orders, prices & payment
- —The flagship hardcover is a one-time purchase; current pricing is on the Pricing page.
- —Prices are in USD, and any taxes are calculated at checkout.
- —Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Printing & shipping
- —Books are printed to order at a facility near you and shipped to your address.
- —Production and delivery times vary by location; we'll show estimates at checkout.
Refunds & cancellations
- —Because every book is made to order, we'll publish a clear, fair cancellation window before printing begins.
- —If your book arrives damaged or defective, we'll reprint or refund it.
- —The exact refund terms will be finalised before we take real payments.
Fair use of Petmoir
- —Please don't upload content that's illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or is abusive.
- —We may decline or remove content that breaks these rules.
Intellectual property
- —The Petmoir name, website and software are ours.
- —Your content and your finished book are yours.
Disclaimers & liability
- —Petmoir is provided “as is.” We work hard to make something beautiful, but we can't promise it will be perfect.
- —To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us.
Changes
- —We may update these terms from time to time; we'll always post the latest version here.
